BOHO FOLIES

In the 1920’s & 30’s the costume designer Erté created a series of unimaginably delicious looks for the performers at The Folies Bergère in Paris. In my eyes a handful of looks from the fall 99 collection by Dior act as a sister to Ertés earlier imaginings. The bohemian aesthetic from both bodies of work are the key inspiration for my boho folies jewels.
