Gold Plated Care Instructions
Your gold plated jewels will retain their colour with little effort. Simply wipe down before or after each wear with the polishing cloth provided to prevent the build up of oils. Should you ever require a re-plating service, simply email us at: info@rubyjack.com
Brass Care Instructions
To keep your brass jewellery looking shiny and golden there are two methods we recommend:
1) Regularly use a small soft brush or toothbrush and some green dish detergent to vigorously scrub your brass piece. You will not damage pearls or stones by scrubbing with a soft toothbrush. Once you have brought your jewellery back to its original shine, dry your piece completely. Your piece must be bone dry after cleaning/before wearing. The more often you do this the easier it will be to maintain the yellow gold colour of your piece.
2) Occasionally use a brass polish such as PEEK or MAAS to completely remove any grease, or metal discolouration. Pop a little polish on to the corner of the cloth provided and gently polish all over. Rinse your piece under warm water with a little green dish detergent to remove any excess polish. Dry your piece completely. Your piece must be bone dry after cleaning/before wearing.
